The Snow Day that Was London

At midnight here in London, Last Sunday I was just about getting ready to watch the Steelers take the SuperBowl, taking a break after a few pre drinks leading to a steal breaking bathroom, I stumbled upon the first clear view of snow fall. Now with all honesty, this was the 1st time I’ve ever seen snow, moving over from the Southern Hemisphere where the closest bit of ice we had, was to stick our heads in the freezer for a few minutes and dream that you were in the North Pole lol.

It was classic!

Waking up on Monday morning and finding nothing but snow!

The best set of news came when the Mayor of London announced it to be a Snow day, this was the best news ever coming from this dull country, even thou it cost the UK 6.2 billion pounds, And transport was cancelled, it was certainly a day to remember. From Dogs to one Legged Grannies, every passer by got snow ball’d. It was a great day in London Town, no phone calls or bad news…… no worrying about the bills and problems of life……… just a white snow day, to let it all go. Well that’s the way I saw it, and nothing was gonna spoil it. Not now, not ever. I wish that last Monday was like Groundhog Day
